Melinda was a software developer and project manager for health care corporation before she joined a nonprofit.

When I started out at this company they forgot to have me sign the standard confidentiality and non-compete clause.


I was working all of the time and my hours got out of control. Once, I was having a dinner party at my house and I got a call at home.


Once our off-shoring team in China came into our office and worked with us for several months. When one of the Chinese employees told my boss that they needed more time to finish a project he replied, "Don't you fucking tell me you aren't going to get it done.
